This short social drama follows a mother Zdenka and her fifteen-year-old daughter Linda. They live in a small town that’s stuck in place, just like the women in this story. Zdenka is hopelessly in debt and works as a prostitute in the evenings. Linda avoids school and sees her purpose in dancing. Both women try to escape their dire circumstances. They pass each other by and whether they will find a way to each other is uncertain.
